Description: The Yellow Twig Dogwood is named for its yellowish bark, which is most striking during the winter months. White flowers emerge in the spring, followed by white colored fruit in the summer months. The species will reach a mature height of 3-6 feet and a spread of 3-4 feet. Its strong root systems make it a good choice for erosion control.


Site Conditions: The species prefers moist, well-drained soil conditions. It prefers full sun conditions, however it is tolerant of partial sun, however its bark color is known to be less prominent in shady locations.
